Weekly Work Roundup – Dec 17

By: on Dec 18, 2010 | No Comments

Project #1: Sometimes it’s the small quick jobs that are a welcome break from the long, tedious ones.  That was the case with this client’s job.  They had a WordPress theme already installed on their website.  However, due to the configuration of their site, they were not going to be using a sidebar at all.  With a couple of quick HTML and CSS modifications, we removed the side bar and expanded the content area for maximum use.

Project #2: We’ve begun to take on more e-commerce jobs, some of them on a WordPress platform.  This client had purchased a WordPress e-commerce theme but wanted it more customized to fit their needs.  Unfortunately the theme was poorly coded and we had to do quite a bit of recoding along with more HTML and CSS work to get them closer to where they wanted to be with this theme.

Project #3: As much as large projects may seem intimidating or overwhelming in the beginning, they do provide a a sense of achievement when they are complete and the client is happy with their end product.  Work continues on a large project we have going on.  The client is happy with the design we provided and coding the PSD to HTML has begun.
