As we approach nearly 1000 downloads on our Prosper202 fix, we’ve seen a few comments where people needed a little additional help on how and when to overwrite the functions.php file.
To make life easier, we’ve included our fix in this package. All you have to do now is:
- Download it
- Extract it
- Upload it to your host (or we can host it for you, just contact us for more info)
- Install it as per the instructions on the official Prosper202 site
- Enjoy!
The file has moved to our client area. Registration is free and so is the file.
Update (6/27/2010): In order to cover our costs of encoding our modifications we will be releasing this file to members only. Membership is $1.00. We’ve had to encode our work in order to protect our file from being re-released by someone else with no credit given to us.

I spent almost the whole day installing the software. Even the people at HostGator don’t know how to fix this. I was so glad I found this post!
Can you tell me how to open a .php file name to edit it? It keeps trying to open it in Dreamweaver (which I don’t have). I just want to open the config-sample.php as a text file to put some names in.
Right click on the file>>Open With>>Notepad
I installed it successfully on hostgator. But now when I setup a link and try to use it i get this error:
Warning: Header may not contain more than a single header, new line detected. in /home/root/public_html/prosper202/tracking202/redirect/dl.php on line 363
The guys at Hostgator are blaming it on the script, but I can’t find anybody else experiencing this problem with prosper202.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
I used your file to upload to Hostgator. Now I get this error when trying to login.
Table ‘dacotrac_prosper.202_delayed_sqls’ doesn’t exist
SELECT delayed_sql FROM 202_delayed_sqls WHERE delayed_time <=1268789821

Installed it and works fine but the only issue that i have is when i type in my domain name in the address bar, it redirects me to the 202-login.php.
How can i get rid of that so i can redirect it to where ever i want to?
I felt some limitation while tracking the performance of affiliate network which only provides the banner links. Please help i am promoting hosting affiliate with banner.

Apparently, you can just upgrade without any issues e.g. just overwrite the files.
